There was another snow day today, primarily because of the cold this morning. By mid afternoon, it was sunny, bright and 20 degrees. I had to go out and it was wonderful!

Day 739: Cleaning cupboards
I took a break from writing to clean out kitchen cupboards and threw away a shameful amount of food. So many outdated boxes of mixes, grains, and jars of olives, sauces and salad dressings. What a terrible waste. The worst was a bag of confectioner's sugar from 2002. I don't understand that. The kitchen was new in 2008 and I replaced everything then.
