The last night of the Christmas garland
Last night of our beautiful Christmas tree
Even though it was only ten degrees the sun shone brightly today so we went for a lovely walk along the creek .
Our house in the winter sunshine
The field across the street with long shadows.
Our friends, the three young does, came to visit this afternoon and raided the bird feeders.
We decided to cancel the trip to Toronto, even though the weather did improve a bit today. Walking around city neighborhoods is one of our favorite parts of exploring a city. Sub zero wind chills would not make that a pleasant activity.
That's OK. I did a substantial amount of work done on the book today. I collected all the information from the twelve classes into one file, decided on a format for the lessons and started editing. There's 23 pages but that includes quite a bit of duplication so I have to cut it down to no more than fifteen pages. That will bring the total to about 192 pages. I decided to keep a separate chapter on field sanitation chapter which will be called, "Dig a hole and do what?"
