Day 646: Home all day

What a change from yesterday when I was actually swimming!  Today, it was 58, rainy and windy.  The furnace came on and I wore socks for the first time since backpacking.   Steve was out, so I could concentrate and make huge progress on the Quest video.  All of the video is now edited. Tomorrow, I will do the transitions and titles.  The most challenging task is the music.  Locating and choosing the right selections, then attaching them to the video clips was the hardest job last year.  Colin has some ideas, but I will have to check the lyrics, assess the rhythms to see if the music fits a Quest.  I loved the music selections last year and will probably use some of them again.

I may have done more cooking in the past two days than I have since the reunion in July.  Apple bread, zucchini casserole, spaghetti sauce with meatballs.  All so delicious!  Plentiful fresh fruits and vegetables are a few benefits of autumn.

Steve rushed to Ripley because of a house explosion.  Seven departments responded.  A gas leak led to the explosion and fire which totally destroyed the house. Fortunately, the owner decided to go out today and was not home at the time.  It could have been a deadly event.
