Day 588: Black eyed Susan

Walking along Howard and Water Streets, I found several new flower beds to photograph.

Thus far this month, I have swum 11.6 miles and today I hit 40 miles for the summer!  If only the water had been warmer in May and June, I could have accumulated more miles.

We saw the heron again today in exactly the same place.  I snapped away as it flew along the creek bed, but the photos are blurry.  It has a favorite fishing hole just below the bridge.
