Day 555: Mapping the gardens

I swam 220 lengths  today, just over a mile.  Maybe I will sleep better tonight.  In between sets, I worked on mapping the gardens.  I was finally able to retrieve and update the 2011 catalogue that I had made in an excel program that my new computer won't read.  Since I moved so many lilies this spring, I have to wait until they bloom to verify what they are and create new maps.  The online databases are extremely helpful for double checking that I have accurately labeled each lily.  Even though I keep the tags when I buy one, they aren't always correct, plus many were gifts from my sister.  It's fun to research their characteristics and solve the mysteries of their identities.
