Day 401: Door frames

Dave and Linn installed the door frames today and did a beautiful job.  The only thing is that the frame around the back door is a bit too light.  Oh, well, it will darken over time.   Tomorrow they will tear out the shower stall, dry wall and trim in our bathroom and then start installing the new fixtures.

I did a lot of work on foot care and blister stories for the trials chapter.  I added the story about the year we had a sick call on Saturday morning to deal with the large number of students with terrible blisters.  They lined up on a slope with their bare feet ready for inspection.  If the blisters were minor, I took care of them.  If they had large weeping blisters, Steve broke and drained them.  It was a painless procedure, but one girl named Sarah was terrified of needles.  She cried and screeched while Steve cleaned the blisters and drained them.   When it was over, she admitted that it hadn't hurt at all.
