Day 399: Forget about the boy rehearsal

Rehearsal was wild today because the school was invaded by hundreds of students performing for NYSSMA.  They took up all the classrooms and we couldn't work in the hallways.   Forget About the Boy is a dazzling tap number that was punctuated by Kevin and Dave on the chop saw.  My 2 1/2 day headache was ferocious this morning, but tapered off till the afternoon, when the whine of the drills, chop saw, vacuum cleaner,  piano and sweet Emma singing put me over the top.

A few new parents have joined the crew and they are excellent additions.  Still, I love our hardworking tech crew.   Clare was awesome on the drill as she helped assemble a door frame on the jail cell.  Then there was Lauren, Evan, Lauren and Rory painting flats and Aubrey, Allie, Brigitte, Bailey and Jack on construction duty.
