Day 263: Autumn's crisp morning

The furnace rumbled on this morning for the first time since early May.  Color that has tinged the maple trees since late July now sparkles and gleams in the autumn sunlight.  Dozens of yellow mums sprinkled around the yard, are starting to bloom.
