Day 253: Milkweed

Faded late summer blooms and plump milkweed pods always capture my attention.  I love the sculptural shapes of milkweed.  We walked around the Chestnut, Matteson, Temple block to get a change of scenery.  Unfortunately, Steve tripped on Matteson, at exactly the halfway point, and fell flat on his face.  Then, we had to get home with his injuries.  Tomorrow, he will get X-rays and find out if anything is broken.
