Day 964: Forty-third anniversary

You know it's a real vacation when Steve turns off his county phone!  It was wonderful to be free of the emails, texts and calls.  We spent the afternoon at Presque Isle.  Years ago, when the kids were small, we visited the peninsula a few times, but we haven't returned for many years.  It's very picturesque, has about a dozen beaches, trails, boat launches, and picnic areas.  A few hours was not enough to explore much, so we will have to return.

Dinner was at a Mediterranean restaurant called Casablanca Grill that was recommended by a friend from Facebook.
