Day 953: 60 days, 62 miles

Swimming two miles today was no problem.  Last time, the water was 67 degrees and the air even cooler.  Today, the water was 72 and the air 83.  Wonderful!  I got out and made dinner instead of shivering under a quilt for a few hours.  On day 60, I hit 62 miles.  So tomorrow, I will exceed my total miles for 2013.  It's a good thing, too, because a cold front is coming again and will drop the temps along with lots of rain.

The wedding yesterday was lots of fun!  Music blasted, firemen everywhere danced and sang at the top of their voices.  Almost all the men present were firemen, either professionals from Washington, DC, or Baltimore or volunteers from Chautauqua County.  They know how to party hard!  We've know the groom since he was a little boy and he's very shy.  He struggled with all the attention, pictures and clinking glasses.  The bride was glowing and ebullient,  tugging him along to join her in the dances.  Truly, opposites did attract.
