Tonight I will sleep. Joe Biden offered a more vigorous defense of the administration tonight than the President did last week. He was assertive and passionate. Mr. Ryan was also well-prepared and forceful. It was far more balanced in time use as compared to the 25 minute advantage Mr. Romney had last week. The moderator enforced time limits and switched topics nine times.
We had a great long walk through town today and inspected the recent progress at the college. Since the college is on fall break, campus was empty. In the quad, golden yellow locust leaves fluttered gently to the ground. It won't be long till the branches are bare.
