Day 276: XC Home meet

While it poured all morning, I sat at my computer making music selections for the Quest video and then  applying and manipulating the music in iMovie.  Since I needed more clips, I rewatched the 2010 video that Colin made and the 2011 video the Evan produced and borrowed from their music selections.  It was a delight to relive those expeditions.  Colin incorporated flashbacks at the end when we were hiking across Webster Rd. and through Mr. Lesch's fields.  It was a really effective technique.   My raw footage was much better in the past two years than it was this time, but I was much busier this year.

The cross country team ran their first and only home meet at Lake Erie State Park.   In warm, wet condition, they ran really well.  A Fredonia boy named Forest won the modified race, Lauren won the varsity girls' race and probably Jake won the boys' varsity.  We left before the end.  It's fun to see the kids and their parents, even though we know fewer and fewer.  These pictures are for our friends!
