Day 282: Columbus Day

Although the students of Fredonia had no school today, very few were outside playing, walking or riding bikes.  While walking, we saw four small children climbing on a swing set in a neighbor's yard, four more playing catch with their dad in a park and two teens riding bikes down town.  All the ball fields, tennis courts and pavilions in Russell Joy Park were empty.

However, we did encounter a rambunctious beagle named Jake charging through the park dragging his leash.  I caught the leash and Steve read his tags.  His home was close by, but he didn't want to go home cause there were so many trees to sniff.

This afternoon Steve and I watched the whole Quest video to check again for any errors or flaws.  I corrected a few small things and then discovered a sliver of green between two music clips.  Thinking it was a song behind another song, I deleted it.  Then another appeared and I deleted it.  Well, it turned out that all the music slid into the opening if it wasn't pinned to a video clip.  The outcome was that I had to do the music all over again.  Fortunately, it only took a half hour and it turned out better than the original.  So now all we have to do is finalize the project and begin to burn the dvds.  Hooray!
