Day 192: Flat hostas
Still no rain. My poor hostas are lying limp in the dust, the underleaves crusty and yellow. I finally put the sprinkler on them for the first time since the drought started in hopes that they will revive for the garden party. About twenty lilies are finished blossoming already, weeks ahead of their normal season.
