Day 85: Tin Man Hill

For many of the years when Steve was coaching cross country, the team met for summer practices on Tin Man Hill.  The unique sculptures can be seen gleaming in the distance.  When we walked through campus today, they were alone, no clusters of teens doing strides and figure 8s.

We have a pair of courting cardinals hovering around our Japanese willow.  Five times today the male crashed into the office window, even though I closed the curtains.  He must see a rival in his reflection.

We were so very proud of our students and staff last night.  Under Ben's leadership, we feel confident that the musical has a secure place in Fredonia's future.  Not only did the students perform beautifully, the young adults have managed all the challenges of this huge production very effectively.
