It's always a sad day when we close the pool. It was wonderful though, to do the job on a beautiful, warm day with no gusty wind or rain slashing at us, as we've done in the past. And we got through it with NO swearing! Yeah! It took most of the day to clean, dry and fold the solar cover, drain about a foot of water from the pool, clean the ladder and store it away, cover and secure the winter cover and the leaf cover, drain and clean the filter, and more...
The patio garden at its autumn peak. I picked yellow beans (grown in pots) yesterday and we had them for dinner. There are still cherry tomatoes and loads of herbs.
