We're getting back in the groove of routine life in Fredonia. I already miss my sons, but Christmas is coming! Last night, 27 families attended the first Quest parent meeting. Today, the parent of an NCCS student asked if we could include those 8th graders in the program. We have actually discussed that possibility since so many of those students transfer to Fredonia as Freshmen. The big obstacle is the adult assistance. I don't think people understand how much time goes into just the instructional part of Quest. So, now there is interest in Silver Creek, Forestville, and Dunkirk. It's time to set up some parameters for participation by other districts and establish procedures to follow to apply.

When we returned from our walk, Paddy was perched on the top step watching the turkeys graze at our bird feeders. A dozen fat turkeys gently clucking as they pecked around the garden suddenly took off when we walked up the driveway.
I have been cleaning out my digital photo files and have worked up to 2005. I came across these beauties of Anna and Alycia when they were my students in tenth grade. Now I consider them dear friends, along with their wonderful families.
