We just watched Michael Phelps earn his 21st Olympic medal by winning the 100 Fly. Coming from behind, he powered his way to the victory. There was no way he would be defeated in his final individual event. His determination, discipline and years of hard work that he has dedicated are incredible!
This week has been emotionally charged, so I found refuge in our backyard and spent my time gardening, swimming, reading, thinking. The heat was intense today and will be worse tomorrow. I hope to hit 8 miles for the week.
